Parrish Cheeses Sponsor M.R.F.A.

Parrish Cheeses is proud to sign-up as a sponsor of M.R.F.A. “Cheese may be my passion”, said Alan the co-owner of the newly established independent cheese shop in Great Dunmow, Essex “but I think we share many similarities with M.R.F.A.”

“Michael and his team are building a great reputation across the local football community for delivering high quality coaching for boys and girls from 5 to 16.  From what I see each week, M.R.F.A. are striving to make every player the best they can be and I see that M.R.F.A. are not just about developing footballers but are also focused on providing opportunities for young people to build a career in the sport they love.  If every day you get up and go to work to do something you love then you have the best job in the world, and if our financial contribution can help M.R.F.A. continue to provide, and also help boost its facilities and inspire young people to stay involved in sport, then I think it has been an investment that cannot be quantified in pounds, shillings and pence.”

Parrish Cheeses opened in May 2015 in Great Dunmow High Street, Essex.  In that short time, it has quickly established itself as the ‘go to’ destination for food lovers and anyone keen to explore the best of UK cheese.  Run by husband and wife team, Alan and Fiona Bowley, the shop offers the choice of over 60 different UK and European cheeses, a fine selection of fresh artisan bread – the Guinness and Date Walnut are particularly good sellers, as well as a range of chutneys and pickles not usually found on supermarket shelves.

The shop, located near the local post office, provides a base from which Parrish Cheeses can now deliver a daily lunch of cheese, bread and olives for just a few friends, or prepare a celebration cheese tower (a savoury alternative to the traditional wedding cake) as part of a wedding breakfast for over a 100 guests.

Parrish Cheeses and M.R.F.A. are very excited about this collaboration and we’re looking forward to growing and helping the people in our local community.
