MichaelRichardsonFootballAcademy-70

Charlie Warren was signed by Tottenham Hotspurs’ under 9’s as their goalkeeper in October 2015.

Charlie was with M.R.F.A. for over twelve months and was outstanding in his performance and passion for football.  During the summer of 2014, he was invited to train at Leyton Orient as an outfield player.  At the time, Charlie wasn’t quite ready for a professional club so he came back to M.R.F.A., where he signed up to our first Development Group in September 2014 and attended every week where we helped him to develop as a player and his skill in football.

Daniel Adams, signed by Leyton Orient

Daniel Adams

Daniel Adams was signed by Leyton Orient FC in July 2015.

Daniel Adams was our first player to sign for a professional football club.  He was with us for a short period of time at our Development Group, but was quick to show us what he was capable of and landed a fantastic opportunity with Leyton Orient. His attitude and application towards every session was amazing to see from someone so young and we are very proud!

Freddie Taylor-Coghil, signed by Colchester United

Freddie Taylor-Coghill was signed by Colchester United under 9’s in February 2016.

Freddie joined M.R.F.A. in November 2014, starting at our Dunmow Development Group where he straight away caught the eye of all our coaches. With impressive displays in training, Freddie was in M.R.F.A.’s first U8’s team last year, and with a number of superb performances last year with us, it was only a matter of time before he was to move on!

Freddie is looking to have a bright future at Colchester, having signed a 3 year contract with the League 1 side.
